R.I.P Joseph Cucvara – 1939-2017

It came as a shock to learn of Joseph’s passing on the 23rd March, 2017 after a short battle with a very virulent bile duct cancer …

The official Obituary was published in the Sydney Morning Herald on Monday, the 27th March …

Joseph’s funeral was held on Thursday, 30th March 2017 at the Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium on a suitably grey, wet and windy day …

The love and esteem Joe was held in was indicated by the large turnout of family and friends who couldn’t all fit in the chapel for the service …

Six Planet colleagues/friends attended : David Hawley, David Johnstone and wife, Geoff Tassell and Wife, Geoff Sharrock and wife, Phil MacNamara and Myself …
(Phil didn’t stay for the Wake afterwards) …

I attach a tribute containing the funeral service schedule and some pictures I took at the Wake following the funeral …

I also attach a link to a moving visual tribute prepared by his family and shown at the funeral service …
